Stephen Shaw, Founder, CEO and Chairman
Stephen founded Autometrics in 2000 with Barnaby Knight to focus on the provision of better reporting and analysis to large enterprises. He has been involved in software technology since 1987, and in 1996 launched one of the world’s first internet portals, which was later adopted by Microsoft MSN. His previous company, Netica, was listed on the London OFEX market. Stephen holds an International MBA from Institut ISG in Paris, and has spent periods studying in New York and Tokyo. He spends his time split between Autometrics offices in Los Angeles, New York, London and Costa Rica.
Barnaby Knight, Founder, Director of European Operations
Barnaby Knight is a chartered accountant, and spent ten years working for the management consultancy division of Andersen from 1990 to 2000. Six years of which were spent working in the USA and four in the UK. Barnaby specialized in Performance Management consultancy. Barnaby joined Autometrics at its inception and is responsible for managing Autometrics’ European operations from London.
Herd Rogers, VP of Data Management
Herd is responsible for Autometrics data management operations and joined Autometrics in 2007. He holds an MBA from Northwestern University and is a qualified chartered accountant. He started his career with Arthur Andersen in the UK before moving to Hong Kong to take up a management position with Ernst & Young. For five years prior to joining Autometrics, Herd was responsible for managing 24 x 7 online and call center operations in UK and Central America, servicing a large number of clients in various industries.
Chuck Wu, VP of Technology Integration
Chuck Wu joined Autometrics in 2004 as Technical Account Manager. During this time he was responsible for primary client support for US clients for three years, and additionally worked on technical management of Autometrics contracts in Europe. Chuck holds an M.S. degree in Computer Science from UCLA and spent time working for Hughes Labs and SDC, now a division of Fox Interactive Media, prior to joining Autometrics.
Randy Rubin, VP of Business Development and Delivery
Randy has over 16 years experience in the automotive industry. While at both Nissan and Toyota, Randy project managed multiple vehicle launches and product plans.
As Client Service Director with another research supplier, Randy was responsible for delivering the scope of work and for client relationship.
Randy leads the business development and delivery areas at Autometrics. Although he only joined Autometrics in 2008, Randy was a client of Autometrics while at Nissan North America. As the Business Intelligence Senior Manager, Randy was the internal lead for the Autometrics’ implementation and on-going relationship.
Randy is now responsible for uncovering new business and partnership opportunities. His duties also include the successful implementation of engagements and ensuring successful delivery of on-going improvements.
